Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join the pharmacy team under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, contributing to patient care and daily pharmacy operations.

The role emphasizes patient safety, regulatory compliance, inventory management, and customer service, with opportunities to develop clinical skills. Regular weekend attendance is expected and immunization eligibility is preferred where allowed.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy
• 0-3 years relevant work experience
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining valid intern/licensure as required
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work weekends and maintain attendance
• Lift up to 20 lbs and stand for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Lead patient care programs and participate in pharmacy operations under supervision
• Ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance
• Support inventory and workflow management
• Provide excellent customer service
