Job summary

CVS Health is seeking Graduate Pharmacy Interns to apply didactic learnings to real-world practice under supervision. You will follow a comprehensive 120-day training roadmap to deepen knowledge of store operations, patient safety, and pharmacy workflows while delivering compassionate service.

As you progress, you’ll take on greater responsibility supporting management and operations, with opportunities to immunize and provide patient care under licensed pharmacist supervision.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program.
• Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure within state guidelines; if not obtained within 120 days of graduation, employment may be terminated.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Demonstrate attention and focus to concentrate on tasks over time and pivot quickly between tasks.
• Provide strong customer service and work well with a team.
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues; use active listening.
• Apply math to solve prescription quantities and days supply.
