Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic knowledge in real-world pharmacy operations within our store network. You will learn under a preceptor and district leadership, following a structured 120‑day training roadmap focused on patient safety, DUR, and professional standards to prepare for a pharmacist role.

As you gain tenure, you will support immunizations, prescription processing, inventory, and engagement with patients to improve health care access.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program before starting the Post‑Graduate Training Program.
• Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe (120 days) per state guidelines.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled accurately, safely, and promptly.
• Support patient care services including immunizations and point‑of‑care testing where allowed by law.
• Demonstrate empathy and professional communication with patients and colleagues.
• Follow SOPs and maintain patient privacy and safety during all interactions.
