Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice within CVS stores. Under supervision, you will complete a 120-day training roadmap to deepen your knowledge of patient safety, DUR, and pharmacy operations, while growing your clinical and technical skills.

You will assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately, demonstrate empathy, and learn to deliver caring service that exceeds patient expectations.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program
• Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure within state timeframe
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern/technician licensure

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Complete required training within designated timeframe
• Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time
• Counsel patients and provide empathetic care under supervision
• Assist in immunizations and other patient care services when trained
• Ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment per SOPs
