Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to join our retail pharmacy teams. You will apply didactic learning to practice under a pharmacist preceptor, following a 120‑day training roadmap designed to deepen patient safety, DUR, and SOP compliance.

You'll assist with prescription fulfillment, patient counseling, immunizations where allowed, and contribute to a safe, inclusive store culture while developing readiness for Pharmacist responsibilities across the district.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within state guidelines; licensure within 120 days of graduation.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Concentrate on tasks for patient safety and accuracy in prescription labeling.
• Provide strong customer service and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
• Assist with immunizations, patient education, and routine pharmacy operations under supervision.
• Support inventory tasks and maintain SOPs to ensure compliant pharmacy workflow.
