Walgreens in Miami is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, high-quality patient care while learning under the pharmacist's supervision.

You will assist with processing prescriptions, engage customers, help manage inventory, and uphold all regulatory requirements. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Must be enrolled in a School of Pharmacy and fluent in English; evening and weekend availability is required. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a School of Pharmacy program.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

Responsabilités

• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Models and shares customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Under pharmacist supervision, assist in the practice of pharmacy and in entering, third party processing, filling, and dispensing prescriptions.
• Assists pharmacists in delivering patient care within state scope of practice including counseling and health services.
• Reports prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and adheres to company policies regarding pharmacy errors and Quality Improvement.
