Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support daily pharmacy operations in our Vancouver, WA store. You will assist with dispensing, patient counseling, and processing prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Responsibilities include inputting data into the pharmacy system, handling third-party insurance, and providing immunizations as directed. Active enrollment in a US pharmacy program and a current intern license are required.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a US school of pharmacy.
• Hold a current state issued Pharmacy Intern license.

Responsibilities

• Promote customer safety and satisfaction through accurate dispensing and counseling.
• Assist pharmacist in processing prescriptions and third-party insurance.
• Provide immunizations under supervision of the pharmacist.
• Input patient and prescription data into the pharmacy system accurately.
• Stock and manage medication inventory and notify management of issues.
• Maintain clean, safe pharmacy environment and comply with QA standards.
