Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a US school of pharmacy.
• Hold a current state issued Pharmacy Intern license.

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create an environment that makes customers feel welcome and appreciated by answering questions about products in the department and store.
• Provide drug counseling to customers and discuss pharmaceuticals with customers and prescribers.
• Assist with over the counter medication recommendations.
• Input patient and prescription information accurately into the pharmacy computer system.
• Dispense the correct medication and contact prescribers for authorization.
• Process third party insurance information and communicate with insurance companies as needed.
• Notify management of accidents or safety issues.
• Provide immunizations under pharmacist supervision.
• Stock incoming orders and manage inventory.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality assurance standards, and company policies.
