A leading pharmacy in Louisville, Kentucky is seeking a Pharmacy Intern Grad to provide consulting services related to medication usage and drug interactions. The role includes engaging with customers to enhance their experience, counseling patients, and managing pharmacy operations in compliance with regulations. Candidates should be willing to obtain a Pharm D degree and pharmacist licensure, with experience in prescription dispensing preferred. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range.

Qualificações

• Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 90 days of hire.
• Experience performing prescription dispensing activities with knowledge of controlled substance laws.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Provides pharmacy consulting services about medication usage and drug interactions.
• Engages customers by offering assistance and resolving issues.
• Counsels patients about medication and health needs.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding and dispensing medications.
• Ensures compliance with pharmacy regulations and policies.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems and tracks insurance claims.
• Develops relationships with local medical community and participates in outreach.
• Assists in hiring and coaching pharmacy staff to improve performance.
