Winona Health seeks a Pharmacy Intern to assist in processing, preparing, and dispensing medications across inpatient, outpatient, and retail settings under pharmacist supervision.
You will support routine procedures, follow regulations, and contribute to safe pharmaceutical care while gaining hands-on experience in Cerner and PioneerRx systems within a hospital/clinic environment.

Under the direction of the Manager of Pharmacy Services, the pharmacy intern functions under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. Follows routine pharmacy procedures and adheres to law pertaining to the practice of pharmacy. Responsible for the processing, preparation and dispensing of inpatient, outpatient and retail medications and other technician functions. Uses clinical knowledge to preform professional activities as needed under the supervision of a pharmacist.
Required:
A majority of the time is spent in the main central pharmacy department or clinic pharmacy. In addition, routine visits to patient care areas and other departments within the hospital and clinic is required for the delivery of individually prepared patient medications as well as for the maintenance of stock medications.
Rotating shifts days/evenings/weekends/holiday, hours between 6:30 am - 10:00 pm
