CHI Health Mercy Council Bluffs is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Student to assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, focusing on unit-dose distribution to patients.
In this role, you will assemble unit-dose drugs, help with sterile IV admixtures under supervision, maintain prescription files, answer calls, and help ensure stock levels are accurate. Iowa licensing requirements apply for the technician trainee or intern pathways.
As our Pharmacy Tech or Student at CHI Health Mercy Council Bluffs, you’ll help our Pharmacists by safely assisting in the preparation and dispensing of medications to help our patients feel better and recover from their illness or injury. You’ll build trust in these interactions by helping fill and distribute medication unit-dose drugs along with performing medication exchange to the designated nursing units. To excel in this role, you must enjoy learning new concepts and researching information in real-time to provide solutions for real people and continually look for ways to go above and beyond for our patients, delivering an exceptional experience.
