Job summary

Curant Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician-Intake Coordinator in Smyrna, GA to create patient records and coordinate all new orders via phone, fax, or web. The role supports the Pharmacy Intake Department and is cross-trained to manage the prescription fulfillment process from inception to delivery.

The position requires a High School Diploma, 2+ years of relevant experience, and Georgia registration as a Pharmacy Technician (certification a plus).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Georgia registration as Pharmacy Technician preferred; certification is a plus.
• Retail pharmacy experience preferred; PioneerRx software experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create patient records and coordinate all incoming new orders via phone, fax or web.
• Code clinical data on medical records to document prescription profiles.
• Verify insurance and input data to keep records current.
• Provide backup support to team members as needed.
• Communicate clearly with patients, providers, pharmacists and staff.
