The role emphasizes high-volume processing, prepacking medications, and strict adherence to HIPAA and regulatory standards. It requires a TX Pharmacy Technician license and a CPhT credential, with a contract-to-hire path and onsite work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active Texas Pharmacy Technician License.
• CPhT credential (e.g., PTCB).
• Experience in fulfillment or mail-order pharmacy is a plus.
• Ability to read, write, speak English.
• Attention to detail for accurate labeling and preparation.
• Basic computer and scanning skills.

Responsibilities

• Fill daily drug orders accurately under pharmacist supervision.
• Pick medications from shelves to fulfill prescriptions.
• Label and scan prescriptions before pharmacist review.
• Alert pharmacist to any scanning issues or incorrect items.
• Assist in processing returned drugs and prepack medications.
• Maintain clean, organized workstations and replenish supplies.
• Follow HIPAA and safety regulations.
• Work overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed.
