Job summary

SelectQuote's SelectRX unit is seeking a Pharmacy Fulfillment Technician to join our on-site team for the 1:30pm – 10:00pm EST shift. The role focuses on accurate data entry, patient registration, and timely processing of prescriptions while adhering to HIPAA and regulatory requirements.

You will work under supervision using Pioneer and other pharmacy systems to resolve third-party rejects, sort and package medications, and support the fulfillment site production process.

Qualifications

• Basic PC skills and ability to operate a computer and pharmacy systems.
• Typing speed around 35 words per minute.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Processes new patient registration by entering data into the Pioneer system.
• Handles patient prescription requests within HIPAA guidelines and enters refill orders.
• Troubleshoots for missing information and interprets medical abbreviations (SIG codes).
• Resolves data-entry exceptions and runs automated machinery to sort medications.
• Packages and ships prescriptions; maintains equipment and clean work area.
• Assists pharmacists by communicating issues to senior staff as needed.
• Adheres to SelectRx procedures and maintains client confidentiality.
