Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of Minnesota in Eden Prairie, MN, is seeking a supervisor to oversee fulfillment technicians and ensure accurate, timely medication preparation for courier delivery. You will hire, train, and schedule staff while optimizing workflow and labor costs in a fast-paced setting.

You will lead daily automation audits, evaluate processes, conduct performance evaluations, and collaborate across departments to meet deadlines and quality targets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements); National Certification preferred (PTCB).
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Advanced proficiency in computer applications related to department operations and job function.
• Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines.
• Ability to solve problems with minimal direction.
• Great attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, manage, and schedules technicians to ensure adequate coverage for workflow within budgeted labor/Rx while keeping overtime low.
• Develop training materials for departments and update as needed.
• Evaluate and modify workflow processes and implement changes as necessary to meet deadlines, accuracy and efficiency targets.
• Ensure all medications are complete and accurate prior to scheduled departures with sufficient time for the medications to be prepared for courier delivery.
• Assign and manage work volume appropriate to each technician’s duties, measuring both productivity and accuracy.
• Ensure Fulfillment technicians are fully trained on assigned workflow area and processes within established time period.
• Manage daily automation audits to ensure accurate packaging and filling of medications.
• In coordination with Director of Operations, develop/conduct regularly scheduled performance evaluations. Provide individual feedback for each team members and document performance improvement goals and objectives.
• Assist with quarter-end inventory prep and physical inventory.
• Work as needed on daily functions which may include, but is not limited to, filling, stocking, prepacking and working with automation to ensure smooth workflow and timely deliveries
• Lead by example in all areas of role and supporting the non-negotiable attributes; attitude, dependability, commitment, productivity, efficiency and upholding policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with other supervisors/functional areas to keep work flowing smoothly and efficiently.
• Comply with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and policies pertaining to the dispensing of prescription medications.
• Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed
