Job summary

AGC Human Resources is seeking a friendly Cashier for a community pharmacy in Guaynabo, PR. You will handle front-end transactions and deliver excellent customer service, helping patients and shoppers quickly and accurately.

Responsibilities include processing POS transactions, handling cash and card payments, issuing receipts, reconciling the cash drawer, greeting customers, directing questions to the pharmacist, stocking the front area, and assisting with opening/closing procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of cashier/retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience in a pharmacy or healthcare retail environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash, credit cards, debit cards, and electronic payment methods.
• Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges in compliance with store policies.
• Reconcile cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Greet customers and patients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Assist customers in locating products and answer general product inquiries.
• Direct pharmacy-related questions to the pharmacist.
• Maintain the front-end area clean, organized, and stocked.
• Assist with stocking shelves, facing products, and maintaining displays.
• Process insurance co-payments for prescription pickups.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as directed by management.
