Qualifications

• Board of Pharmacy license required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate teamwork to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant working environment.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service with sincere, patient interactions.
• Enter prescriptions and patient data into the computer system and interpret physician orders.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and oversee prescription filling.
• Counsel patients about medications, interactions and proper administration.
• Consult with prescribers regarding appropriateness of drug therapy and monitor drug safety.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain safety, sanitation and regulatory standards.
• Maintain inventory and perform daily operational duties under supervision of the pharmacy manager.
