Valley Health System is seeking a Pharmacy Training Specialist to lead staff development within the PHARMACY department. You will oversee onboarding and orientation for new employees and technicians, and help establish annual competencies across the team.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge and experience in institutional pharmacy practice.
• Content expert for training and employing technicians in expanded roles.
• Knowledge and skills to develop adult education programs required.
• Understanding of Performance Improvement, High Reliability and outcomes management required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document education of staff using on-line platforms.
• Ensure training materials comply with USP 795, Board of Pharmacy and Joint Commission.
• Assist clinical staff pharmacists with education documentation.
