Job summary
UMass Memorial Health in Milford, MA is seeking a Manager, Pharmacy Distribution to lead the pharmacy distribution team, oversee medication delivery, storage, inventory and record keeping. The role reports to the Director of Pharmacy and ensures safe, efficient medication distribution.
Responsibilities include supervising pharmacy technicians, coordinating with clinical teams, maintaining formulary and ensuring compliance with USP 795/797/800, CMS and JC standards, plus budgeting and performance
Qualifications
- D.Pharm degree from an accredited school.
- Valid Massachusetts Pharmacist License.
- Board Certification in a specialty or within 2 years of hire.
- Five years hospital pharmacy experience with three years supervising sterile compounding.
- Two+ years direct management experience.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to Pharmacy staff and supervise technicians.
- Collaborate to maintain formulary and cost-effective drug use.
- Develop and implement programs supporting pharmacy mission.
- Ensure compliance with USP, CMS, JC and regulations.
- Monitor workflows and performance indicators for improvements.
