The ideal candidate will verify prescriptions, prepare labels, document dispensing records in real time, and work with barcode tools and pharmacy systems to ensure high quality, efficient workflow in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Active Pharmacy Technician registration or license as required by state.
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
Experience in pharmacy operations, dispensing, or regulated environments is preferred.
Proven ability to follow standardized processes and maintain documentation accuracy.

Responsibilities

Review prescriptions and patient information to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Prepare and apply labels with correct dosing, warnings, expiry, and traceability.
Document dispensing records in real time for audit readiness and data integrity.
Prioritize daily dispensing activities based on urgency and workflow dependencies.
Maintain productivity while minimizing errors and rework to protect quality.
Identify discrepancies or risks and escalate to pharmacists or leadership.
Use pharmacy systems and barcode tools to support accurate documentation and workflow.
Learn and adapt to pharmacy systems and evolving digital workflows.
Identify inefficiencies and support improvements for speed and consistency.
