Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Director of Pharmacy to lead the hospital pharmacy department at Medical City Alliance in Fort Worth, TX.

You will plan, organize, and supervise activities in accordance with hospital policies, professional standards, and state/federal laws. The role requires leadership experience, strong knowledge of pharmacology and regulatory compliance, and a focus on quality improvement and patient care.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensed to practice with ACPE-accredited degree.
• Five years hospital leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Strong pharmacology and pharmacotherapeutics knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Establish quality improvement, fiscal, productivity and patient satisfaction goals with upper management.
• Supervise dissemination of drug information and in-service education.
• Assist staff pharmacists with routine duties as needed.
• Provide leadership and guidance to pharmacy personnel.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety requirements.
