Job summary

MU Health Care is seeking a dedicated pharmacy driver to safely deliver medications between hospitals, clinics and patients' homes. You will communicate with patients and MUHC staff and ensure secure transport of medications, with a focus on accuracy and patient service.

The position requires a Missouri Pharmacy Technician license, a Class E chauffeur license, and a clean driving record, with a base pay range of $16.68–$26.31/hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; suitable education/experience accepted.
• Must apply prior to hire for Pharmacy Technician licensure by the Missouri Board of Pharmacy.
• Chauffeur driver license; class E or higher for Missouri residents.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver prescriptions or supplies to residential and external addresses.
• Obtain delivery confirmation signatures and communicate with patients, pharmacy and MUHC staff.
• Operate small to medium motor vehicles for transporting medications and supplies.
• Follow delivery routes, observe traffic and parking regulations safely.
• Operate tracking technology for deliveries and packages.
• Track missing deliveries and intercept abandoned shipments when needed.
• Load/unload vehicle and use hand cart as required.
• Perform routine vehicle safety checks and report defects.
• Perform pharmacy technician related duties and other tasks as assigned.
• May complete unit/department duties per department documents.
