Job summary

Trinity Health MercyOne seeks a Part-time Delivery Driver to provide safe, timely delivery and pickup of medications and related items for home infusion, long-term care, and specialty pharmacy patients. You will be the face of pharmacy operations, ensuring privacy, accuracy, and excellent customer service during every delivery.

Responsibilities include completing delivery routes, maintaining custody and documentation, and coordinating with pharmacists for any clinical questions.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years delivery, courier, logistics, or customer-facing service experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet driving eligibility including motor vehicle record review and insurance requirements.
• Must obtain and maintain the Iowa Board of Pharmacy Pharmacy Support Person designation and any other state registrations required for duties.
• Comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
• Must demonstrate honesty, integrity, and caring aligned with Trinity Health and MercyOne values.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to patient homes, facilities, clinics, and other locations per scheduled routes.
• Maintain chain of custody and complete delivery documentation with signatures as required.
• Verify destination and recipient; obtain signature proof of delivery and handle exceptions per procedure.
• Transport medications with temperature control and protect product integrity.
• Provide professional customer service during deliveries; route clinical questions to a pharmacist or nurse.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and maintain delivery logs and mileage records.
