Omnicare is seeking a part-time Delivery Driver to provide timely delivery of prescription orders to long‑term care facilities and homes on a predefined route in a company vehicle, including the Alexandria, LA area.

No professional driving experience is required; prior limo/taxi/courier experience is welcome. The role emphasizes patient confidentiality, safety and customer service while complying with HIPAA and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Possess geographical knowledge of service area.
• Flexibility required, including nights and weekends.
• Current, valid driver’s license in the state for the vehicle operation.
• Ability to drive for long periods of time.
• Customer service orientation.

Responsabilités

• Deliver prescription orders and products to customers on a predefined route.
• Load products/materials and ensure timely, accurate delivery.
• Maintain vehicle and report maintenance issues.
• Comply with Federal, State and Local laws; uphold HIPAA and patient confidentiality.
• Support pharmacy workflow and provide courteous service at delivery points.
