Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Services & Delivery driver to support the prompt and accurate delivery of radiopharmaceuticals to medical care providers. The role involves early morning shifts on Thursdays and Fridays, with potential adjustments to 3am-10am based on needs, and may require overtime on occasion.

You will deliver to customer accounts using a company vehicle, package medications for shipment, and scan orders via a handheld tablet to ensure accuracy and navigation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Prior delivery driving experience is a plus.
• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving company vehicle.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Vendor credentialing may be required.
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions day or night.
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work weekends/holidays as part of a rotation.
• Flexibility to work various shifts or overtime as needed.
• Ability to use computers/tablets.
• Ability to work holidays or on-call in rotation.

Responsibilities

Job description

What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health Pharmacy Services & Delivery is responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT). Shift/Schedule 16 hours per week. Typical work schedule is Thursday & Friday from 3:00am – 11:30am. Based on candidate’s needs & availability, may be able to adjust schedule to 3am-10am (14 hours/week). Candidate may be flexible to work different days, schedules, hours or overtime based on business needs.

• Ability to manage weight up to 75 pounds
• May require vendor credentialing
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work weekends/holidays as part of a rotation
• Flexibility to work various shifts or overtime as needed
• Ability to use computers and tablets
• Ability to work holidays or on-call in a rotation

Pay rate: $16.50 per hour
