Cardinal Health is seeking a driver for timely delivery of radiopharmaceuticals and oncology medications to medical providers. The role involves loading, scanning orders with a handheld tablet, and ensuring safe transport. Opportunities include sign-on bonus and varied shifts across a rotating schedule.

Responsibilities include preparing shipments, maintaining vehicle readiness, and supporting facility operations. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with basic English literacy required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age and a valid driver’s license.
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions, day or night.
• Ability to manage weight up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods.
• Ability to work different schedules and overtime as needed.
• Basic proficiency in reading and writing English to process documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-CDL).
• Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment and loads/unloads containers.
• Uses a handheld tablet to scan orders for accuracy and navigation.
• Processes packages returned from customer locations.
• Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs.
• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required.

Shift/Schedule 40 hours per week Tuesday through Saturday 5:00 am to 1:00 pm Rotating holidays as assigned On call work 1 week per month Must be flexible to work different days, hours, and schedules based on business needs.

What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).

• Uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation.
• Processes packages returned from customer locations.
• Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs.
• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle
• Must hold a valid driver's license
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
• Ability to manage weight up to 75 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
• Ability to work different schedules, hours, come in early, stay late, or work overtime based on business needs.
• Comfortable working in a nuclear environment
• Ability to use computers and tablets
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Prior delivery driving experience a plus
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Basic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents.
• May require vendor credentialing

Pay rate: $21.80 per hour Bonus eligible: No
