Job summary

Elderwood Administrative Services in Waltham, MA is seeking full-time and part-time Pharmacy Drivers to safely transport medications and medical supplies to assigned destinations, with a clean driving record required.

Responsibilities include delivering inter-office mail, pharmaceuticals, and equipment per schedule; notifying customers of delays; driving safely to minimize wear; reporting vehicle issues to the Director of Pharmacy Services; ensuring vehicles are in safe condition and clearing

Qualifications

Valid Massachusetts driver's license with no restrictions.
Ability to comprehend orders for distribution of mail, medications and supplies.
Ability to drive in all weather including snow, rain and ice.
Able to operate cargo van, small panel truck, or automobile.

Responsibilities

Deliver inter-office mail, pharmaceuticals, medical supplies and equipment following an established schedule.
Notify customers if deliveries will be late from established time schedules.
Drive safely to minimize damage or wear on delivery vehicles.
Report any mechanical problems with delivery vehicles to the Director of Pharmacy Services.
Ensure delivery vehicles are in safe operating condition (fuel, wash, tires, inspection) and transport vehicles as needed.
Remove trash and packaging from dispensing area as directed.
Clear Pharmacy entrance of snow and ice during scheduled work time.
