Elderwood Administrative Services is actively seeking Pharmacy Drivers to support full-time and part-time positions. Responsible for safely transporting medications, mail, and medical supplies to assigned destinations with a clean driving record.

This role emphasizes timely deliveries and adherence to schedules. Candidates must hold a valid NY driver's license, be able to operate a cargo van or small panel truck, and drive in all weather conditions.

Formación

• Valid New York State driver's license with no restrictions.
• Ability to comprehend orders and directions for distribution of mail, medications and medical supplies.
• Familiar with Western New York roadways; confident driving on NY Thruways.
• Able to drive in all weather conditions including snow, rain and ice, day and night.
• Able to operate cargo van, small panel truck, or automobile.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver inter-office mail, pharmaceuticals, medical supplies and equipment according to a schedule.
• Notify customers if deliveries will be late from established timeframes.
• Drive safely to minimize vehicle damage and wear.
• Report any mechanical problems with delivery vehicles to the Director of Pharmacy Services.
• Ensure delivery vehicles are in safe operating condition (fuel, wash, tires, inspection) and transport vehicles for service as needed.
• Remove trash and empty boxes from dispensing areas as directed.
• Clear pharmacy entrance of snow and ice during scheduled work time.

Overview

Elderwood is currently seeking both full time and part time Pharmacy Drivers.

Responsible for safely transporting and transferring medications and medical supplies to assigned destinations. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Deliver inter-office mail, pharmaceuticals, medical supplies and equipment following an established schedule.
• Notify customers if deliveries will be materially late from established time schedules.
• Drive responsibly and safely in order to minimize damage or excessive wear and tear on the delivery vehicles.
• Convey any mechanical problems identified with the delivery vehicles to the Director of Pharmacy Services as soon as possible.
• Ensure delivery vehicles are in safe operating condition (e.g. fuel, wash, tires, and inspection) including transport of vehicles to appropriate dealership, repair shop, etc.
• Remove trash, empty boxes, and cartons from dispensing area as directed.
• Clear Pharmacy entrance of snow and ice during scheduled work time

• Valid New York State Driver’s License, with no restrictions.
• Able to comprehend orders and directions, so as to successfully assume the necessary responsibility involved in the distribution of mail, medications and medical supplies.
• Familiar with Western New York roadways and confident driving on New York State Thruways.
• Able to drive in all weather conditions including snow, rain and ice during night and daylight.
• Able to operate full size cargo van, small panel truck, or automobile.
