Job summary

Omnicare Pharmacy in Raleigh, NC, is seeking a Delivery Driver to transport prescription orders and related products to long-term care facilities and patient homes on a scheduled route.

You will load, unload, and secure items, ensure HIPAA compliance, and maintain vehicle safety while delivering with a customer-service mindset.

No prior professional driving experience is required, but prior driving roles in limo, taxi, courier, or gig economy are encouraged; competitive pay and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Geographical knowledge of service area.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Current, valid driver’s license in the state at the level required for the vehicle’s operation.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate delivery of medication, equipment, products and/or supplies into long term care facilities or patient’s homes.
• Load products/materials.
• Responsible for vehicle maintenance and alerting management for maintenance issues.
• Maintain and full compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations.
• Maintain highest professional and ethical standards.
• Following HIPAA to ensure patient confidentiality.
