Job summary

AbsoluteCARE Medical Center & Pharmacy in New Orleans seeks a Delivery Driver to support our pharmacy and care teams by delivering medications to members. The role requires timely, safe transport and strong customer service to patients.

Schedule is Monday–Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch. Compensation includes $15.00 per hour plus a $5.00 commission and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR) required.
• Reliable, legal transportation (registered and insured) required.
• Maintain valid driver's license and personal vehicle insurance.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook or similar.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions day or night.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Prior delivery driving experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate deliveries with pharmacy staff to ensure timely departures.
• Deliver medications to patients safely and securely.
• Maintain a delivery log per policy.

Job Summary

This role works with our Pharmacy Team as well as our Care Teams to ensure all members receive their medications. This role will also be responsible to make deliveries to members who have not received their medications timely.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with pharmacy staff to ensure that deliveries leave the pharmacy at the appropriate time and delivered to the designated location requested.
• Transport and deliver medication to patients in a safe and secure manner to prevent damage, spoilage, or loss.
• Maintain delivery log of activities per policy and procedure, which may include checking and/or logging recipient identification.
• Report status and any problems to pharmacy management.
• Ensure patient confidentiality.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills, as well as the ability to multitask and work under limited supervision.

Minimum Qualifications
