Job summary

Quality Pharmacy/Quality Life Services seeks a dedicated Data Entry Technician to support pharmacy operations and ensure accurate entry of orders for residents. You will liaise with nursing facilities, triage orders, and help maintain patient profiles with up-to-date medications and allergies.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience as a Data Entry Technician preferred.
• PTCB Certification preferred.
• Computer proficient.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Manage Pharmacy orders and process entries accurately.
• Communicate with nursing facilities for order clarification.
• Triaging of pharmacy orders to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Retrieve prescriptions from Physicians as needed.
• Track daily admissions and ensure medications are dispensed daily.
• Enter pharmacy orders in an accurate and timely manner.
• Update patient profile history with allergies, therapies and meds.
• File and maintain delivery manifests.
• Answer Pharmacy phones and assist customers.
• Provide support for other pharmacy associates as needed.
