Job summary

Northern-Pharmacy- in Parkville, MD is seeking a licensed pharmacy technician for a fast-paced long-term care setting. You will prepare prescriptions, perform data entry, and help ensure accurate labeling and timely dispensing.

You will assist in processing orders, packaging, shipping, and maintaining HIPAA compliance. The role requires good math, attention to detail, and ability to work varied shifts; on-site training is provided.

Qualifications

• Proof of vaccination required to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare prescription products from data entry to filling under supervision.
• Enter new and refilled orders accurately based on priority.
• Label prescriptions with cautionary and auxiliary labels in compliance with guidelines.
• Assist in packaging, shipping and preparing orders for delivery.
• Cross-train in filling and data departments and consult with pharmacists on order clarifications.
• Ensure HIPAA and state/federal regulations are followed.
• Handle customer calls courteously and professionally.
• Occasional after-hours on-call as scheduled.
