Right Dose Pharmacy, part of the Guardian family, invites you to join our Cedar Rapids team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will enter and process prescriptions, communicate with customers, and support efficient dispensing in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

The role requires attention to detail, state certification as required, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends. Guardian offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional development.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration as per state requirements.
• National Certification (PTCB) preferred.

Mansioni

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the operating system accurately and timely.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing.
• Maintain proper notes in computer and cycle fill coding.
• Calculate and verify correct dosage based on prescriptions.
• Respond to customer calls with care and courtesy; route to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Complete prescribed processing within regular shifts and assist as needed.
• Develop proficiency in all pharmacy systems (document imaging, legacy systems).
• Assist with filing, packaging, inventory, and order profiling when needed.
• Meet delivery deadlines and maintain data entry records for cycles.
