Guardian Pharmacy, LLC in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to enter and process prescriptions with speed and accuracy. You will communicate with customers by phone, ensure precise notes, and support a fast-paced team dedicated to high-quality care.

Responsibilities include triaging faxes, dosage verification, and assisting with order fulfillment and cycle medication processing. State licensure and national certification are preferred.

Qualifikationen

Aufgaben

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the operating system accurately and timely.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing.
• Ensure proper notes in computer and cycle fill coding.
• Calculate and verify the correct dosage based on prescriptions.
• Respond to customer calls with care and courtesy; route to appropriate staff.
• Complete all prescriptions assigned for processing within regular shift.
• Communicate with doctors' offices on refills as needed.
• Develop proficiency in all pharmacy systems (documentation imaging, legacy systems).
• Assist with filing, packaging, inventory, and order profiling as needed.
• Learn cycles to meet delivery deadlines and maintain data-entry records.
