PersonalRX in New Jersey is seeking a Pharmacy Data Entry Technician (CPhT) to join our fast-growing, patient-centered mail-order team. You will enter prescriptions accurately and support prior authorization under pharmacist supervision.

This role requires NJ licensure and CPhT certification, strong attention to detail, and comfort with pharmacy software. You will collaborate with QA Analysts and Pharmacists to ensure order accuracy and smooth processing.

Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with NJ license.
• Detail-oriented and accurate with strong data-entry skills.
• Comfortable using pharmacy software and digital systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willing to work under pharmacist supervision and follow training.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter prescriptions into our pharmacy system
• Assist with prior authorization processing and documentation
• Collaborate with QA Analysts and Pharmacists on order accuracy and re-ship decisions
• Communicate with doctors or patients for out-of-stock medications
• Help patients resolve payment or insurance issues
• Update patient information (address, insurance, credit card)
• Run test claims for potential patients to determine co-pays
• Maintain patient notes and follow up during insurance transitions
• All work performed under pharmacist supervision with ongoing training
• Cross-train in related pharmacy roles for broader skill development
