Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Data Entry Technician for the 2nd shift in New Jersey. The role involves entering new orders, updating patient and drug information, and generating dispensing labels under supervision of the staff pharmacist.

The successful candidate must be a NJ-registered Pharmacy Technician, capable of working independently with accuracy and speed, and comfortable multitasking in a busy pharmacy environment on weekdays with rotating weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with NJ Board of Pharmacy required.
• Experience in pharmacy settings preferred.
• Knowledge of brand name and generic medications.

Responsibilities

• Enter new orders for staff pharmacist review
• Maintain up-to-date, accurate customer information
• Generate labels for dispensing
• Answer phones and respond to order inquiries
• Clarify orders as needed
• Triage incoming faxes

Data Entry Technician Requirements:

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with NJ Board of Pharmacy
• Previous experience in pharmacy desire
• Knowledge of brand name and generic medications
• Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently
• Must be multi-tasking and reliable
• Knowledge of SIG-Codes
• Quick typing skills
• Computer literate, knowledge of Frameworks LTC system, PLUS
