Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration as per state requirements.
• National Certification preferred (PTCB).
• 2+ years of related experience; advanced degree may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the pharmacy operating system accurately and timely.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing.
• Communicate with customers by phone and provide courteous responses.
• Maintain notes in computer and ensure proper cycle fill coding.
• Demonstrate care and courtesy when responding to calls from customers and route as appropriate.
