Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of South Carolina is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support prescription processing and customer inquiries in Charleston, SC. You will enter prescriptions, verify dosages, and maintain accurate records within our tech-enabled system.

Responsibilities include triaging faxes, communicating with customers by phone, and ensuring timely dispensing. A HS diploma and state-certified technician license are required; experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience (advanced degree may substitute for experience).
• Pharmacy software experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong accuracy under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the operating system accurately and timely.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing.
• Verify dosage calculations based on prescriptions.
• Communicate with customers by phone and respond promptly to needs.
• Maintain notes in computer systems and ensure proper cycle fill coding.
