Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of South Carolina in Charleston, SC is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to enter and process prescriptions, triage faxes, and provide excellent customer service. The role supports multiple pharmacy systems and requires attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth within Guardian’s nationwide pharmacy services. Schedule is Monday–Friday with occasional Saturday coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements).
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements). National Certification preferred (PTCB).

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the operating system accurately and timely.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing.
• Communicate with customers by phone and respond courteously to their needs.
• Maintain notes in the computer and ensure proper cycle fill coding.
• Demonstrate care and courtesy when responding to calls from customers.
• Assist with filing, packaging, inventory, and processing prescriptions as needed.
