Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of South Carolina is seeking a Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician I to join our Charleston team. Working under a Registered Pharmacist, you will fill and package prescriptions accurately for delivery, handle labeling, and support inventory management in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

Required are a high school diploma or GED and state-registered pharmacy technician credentials; 1+ year of related experience and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related experience; technical knowledge may substitute for experience.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Great attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling appropriate prescriptions from inventory.
• Apply labels to medication packaging, scan and assemble into appropriate bins accurately.
• Alert pharmacist on duty of any medication that is not scanning properly.
• Participate in training to gain proficiency in other Fulfillment workflow areas.
• Communicate inventory needs to ensure adequate supply of medication to complete orders.
• Assist in maintaining inventory at appropriate levels, including removing expired meds.
• Consistently meet established accuracy and productivity levels.
• Work with other supervisors to keep workflow smooth and efficient.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workstation; replenish stock as needed.
• Comply with local, state, and federal laws governing dispensing of medications.
• Other essential functions may be assigned as needed.
