Saliba’s Extended Care Pharmacy, a Guardian family member, seeks a Pharmacy Technician for the Phoenix, AZ location. The role focuses on entering prescriptions, triaging faxes, and maintaining accurate notes in the operating system while delivering top-tier customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, a Pharmacy Technician license, and 2+ years of related experience. Evening shifts include weekends; benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration required by state; National Certification preferred (PTCB).
• 2+ years of related experience; advanced computer skills; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the operating system accurately and timely.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing.
• Ensure proper notes in computer and cycle fill coding.
• Calculate and verify correct dosage based on prescription.
• Respond to customer calls with care and courtesy; route calls appropriately.
• Complete prescriptions within the shift and meet delivery deadlines.
• Assist with filing, packaging, inventory, and medical records as needed.
