Right Dose Pharmacy in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is seeking a reliable Pharmacy Technician to join our growing team. You will enter and process prescriptions, assist customers by phone, and help ensure accurate dispensing in a fast-paced, quality-driven setting.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and a Pharmacy Technician license. Proficiency with pharmacy software and strong attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pharmacy technician license/certification/registration required; National Certification preferred (PTCB).
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy systems.

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into operating system in accurate and timely manner to eliminate errors at dispensing.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing.
• Ensure proper notes in computer and cycle fill coding.
• Calculate and/or verify the correct dosage based on the prescription.
• Respond to customer calls with care and route to appropriate team member.
• Complete processing of prescribed orders within each shift.
• Collaborate with doctors' offices on refills and communications.
• Develop proficiency in pharmacy systems and data entry for cycle orders.
