Right Dose Pharmacy in Ankeny, IA is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to enter and process prescriptions with speed and accuracy. You will communicate with customers by phone and respond promptly to their needs, supporting our rapidly growing team.

Responsibilities include triaging faxes, ensuring proper notes in the system, and maintaining cycle medication orders while upholding care and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; state requirements may apply.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration; national certification (PTCB) preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years related experience; advanced computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the operating system accurately and timely.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing.
• Maintain proper notes in computer and cycle fill coding.
• Verify correct dosage based on prescriptions and communicate with doctors' offices as needed.
• Assist with filing, packaging, inventory, and processing of orders as required.
• Perform other essential duties as assigned.
