Job summary

MedWiz Solutions, LLC is seeking a Data Entry Technician to support the Pharmacy Services department on-site in Cherry Hill, NJ. The role focuses on accurate prescription data entry, triaging calls, and maintaining clear communication with prescribers and internal teams.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED with 1–3 years of data entry experience; experience in long-term care pharmacy is preferred and PTCB certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 1–3 years of data entry experience or equivalent.
• Long term care pharmacy experience preferred; PTCB certification preferred.
• Intermediate computer proficiency; pharmacy software experience (EMAR, Pyxis Med, Frameworks).
• Ability to read and interpret medication docs, write routine reports and communicate effectively.
• Math skills: basic arithmetic, rates, ratios, percentages; ability to interpret data.

Responsibilities

• Triage calls from prescribers, nurses and facilities and route to the right department.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering phones and emails.
• Maintain organized emails and desk for streamlined operations.
• Enter prescriptions accurately, handle rejections, and relay info to pharmacists.
• Communicate with nurses, doctors, and production staff to ensure timely deliveries.
