Qualifications

• Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the State Board of Pharmacy.
• 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience in a long term care or retail pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities

• Print/Sort Labels for filling prescriptions.
• Review and input new, refill, infusion, house stock and emergency pharmacy orders.
• Enter returns/credits into the pharmacy system when applicable.
• Triage and prioritization of received orders.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information.
• Assist with training of new pharmacy team members.

Skills

Strong knowledge of brand name to generic medication

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Familiarity with SIG codes

Education
