Job summary

Cross-training in various roles will be required to support the outpatient pharmacy network. The ideal candidate will have a Mass Registered Pharmacy Tech license, 1-3 years of related experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Massachusetts Registered Pharmacy Technician registration required.
• 1-3 years related work experience preferred.
• Basic familiarity with computers and web-based applications.
• Bilingual verbal and written communication preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill orders accurately and timely.
• Resolve PBM billing problems and issues.
• Handle phone inquiries and initial prescription intake.
• Cross-train in different roles within the facility as needed.
• Contact patients to schedule medication deliveries and verify addresses.
• Escalate clinical inquiries to pharmacists and grievances to supervisor.
• Maintain patient profiles and enter prescriptions into profiles.
• Answer high volume calls professionally and triage according to scripts.
