Qualifications
What You Bring to Cambia:
Pharmacy Data Analyst I
- Bachelor’s degree in business, health information administration, mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related field
- 2 years’ relevant work experience in data analysis or supporting relational database development, maintenance, or utilization in healthcare or business systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Pharmacy Data Analyst II
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields
- 5 years’ relevant work experience in data analysis or supporting relational database development, maintenance, or utilization in healthcare or business systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- STARS and MES experience strongly preferred
Pharmacy Data Analyst III
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields
- 8 years’ relevant work experience in data analysis or supporting relational database development, maintenance, or utilization in healthcare or business systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- STARS and MES experience strongly preferred
Skills And Attributes
Pharmacy Data Analyst I
- Advanced SQL expertise and report-writing capabilities; proficiency in Oracle suite, Microsoft Access, SQL Navigator, and advanced Excel functions
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of corporate data systems and healthcare fundamentals
- Business acumen in finance, accounting, statistics, risk management, and project management
- Excellent communication skills; ability to lead training and documentation
- Ability to create and validate procedures and manage cross-functional activities
- Knowledge of managed care principles and actuarial concepts
Pharmacy Data Analyst II
- Advanced SQL and report-writing skills; department expert
- Proficient in data access tools and report development
- Advanced MS Word and Excel skills
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills; capable of presenting to management
- Ability to work independently on complex projects with significant financial impact
- Deep understanding of corporate data systems
Pharmacy Data Analyst III
- Ability to work independently or with a team; mentors and leads others
What You Will Do At Cambia
Pharmacy Data Analyst I and II
- Develop and maintain complex SQL reports, dashboards, and validation routines
- Perform statistical analysis, data modeling, and trend analysis
- Design and maintain reporting systems ensuring data integrity
- Evaluate impacts of new products and processes on data infrastructure
- Mentor and support business analysts in reporting methodologies
- Collaborate cross-functionally to interpret data and communicate findings
- Make high-stakes decisions with substantial financial impact
Pharmacy Data Analyst III
- Serve as technical expert on pharmacy data analytics issues
- Mentor and lead projects involving Analysts I and II
