Job Responsibilities
- Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
- Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
- Assists the pharmacist, under supervision, in pharmacy practice, including using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions, in accordance with regulations.
Customer Experience
- Engages customers and patients by greeting them, offering assistance, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
- Shares customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
Operations
- Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
- Recommends products, handles transactions, manages inventory, and maintains store appearance.
- Supports pharmacy tasks such as entering patient and drug info, filling prescriptions, and ensuring compliance with policies.
Training & Personal Development
- Maintains PTCB certification and attends required training to stay updated in healthcare and pharmacy fields.
Qualifications
- Must be fluent in English (except Puerto Rico).
- Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in retail, prior Walgreens work, good math and computer skills, and PTCB certification are preferred.
