Responsibilities include:
- Delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
- Registering sales, providing courteous checkout service.
- Assisting pharmacists under supervision with pharmacy systems, obtaining patient and drug information, and processing prescriptions.
Customer Experience
- Greeting customers, offering assistance, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Sharing customer service best practices with team members.
Operations
- Providing fast, friendly service, recommending products, handling transactions, maintaining store cleanliness, and managing inventory.
- Supporting pharmacy activities such as entering patient data, filling prescriptions, verifying medications, and assisting with inventory management.
- Ensuring compliance with laws and company policies, including handling of regulated products and prescription accuracy.
- Maintaining store displays, assisting with stock rotation, and providing photo services.
Training & Personal Development
- Maintaining PTCB certification and completing required training and continuing education.
Minimum Qualifications
- Fluency in English (excluding Puerto Rico).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in retail, prior Walgreens employment, good math and computer skills, knowledge of inventory control, and PTCB certification.
