- Assists the pharmacist, under supervision, in pharmacy practice in accordance with regulations. Uses pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.

- Shares customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits (e.g., greeting, eye contact, courtesy) and Walgreens service traits (e.g., proactive help, needs identification, service until satisfaction).
Operations
- Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
- Recommends products and trade-up or companion items.
- Handles transactions, including voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges; assists customers in locating products.
- Maintains cleanliness and merchandising of counters and shelves, takes inventory, and records data.
- Supports pharmacy activities: entering patient and drug info, filling prescriptions, verifying accuracy, and assisting in workflow management.
- Reports prescription errors immediately and complies with pharmacy policies and the Quality Improvement Program.
- Adheres to Good Faith Dispensing policies during prescription activities.
- Handles non-urgent phone calls, including communication with physicians.
- Processes third-party claims and performs clerical duties as assigned.
- Supports inventory management: ordering, unpacking, checking shipments, and filing claims for discrepancies.
- Ensures compliance with laws on regulated products like alcohol and tobacco.
- Constructs and maintains displays, completes resets and revisions.
- Assists with product placement, stock rotation, and store cleanliness.
- Maintains knowledge of store systems and equipment.
- Provides photo services, including passport photos, poster prints, and promotional products.
- Manages web order pickups and delivers orders to customers.
- Supports store maintenance and upholds company policies and respectful relationships.
- Completes assigned tasks and special projects.
Training & Personal Development
- Maintains PTCB certification and/or state registration.
- Attends training, completes continuing education, and stays updated on healthcare and pharmacy developments.
- Must be fluent in English (except in Puerto Rico).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
